Ubiquiti USW-Aggregation

The USW-Aggregation is the high-bandwidth core of the network. It’s a layer 2 managed switch completely dedicated to SFP+ connectivity.

Connectivity

  • Trunk: 10G uplink to the UCG-Fiber (via adapters/uplink).
  • Storage: 10G DAC to TrueNAS Core server.
  • Compute: 2x 10G DAC to the Minisforum MS-01 Proxmox nodes.

This ensures that storage traffic (iSCSI/NFS) never bottlenecks the rest of the 1GbE/2.5GbE network.
