Minisforum MS-01

The Minisforum MS-01 acts as the high-performance compute backbone of my homelab. I run two of these nodes in a Proxmox VE Cluster.

  • CPU: Intel Core i9-13900H (14 Cores / 20 Threads)
  • RAM: 64GB DDR5-5200 (Crucial)
  • Networking:
    • 2x 10G SFP+ (Intel X710)
    • 2x 2.5G RJ45 (Intel i226-V)
  • Storage: 2x 2TB NVMe (Ceph OSD), 1x 1TB NVMe (Boot/VMs)

Use Case

These nodes host my Kubernetes (k3s) cluster, CI/CD runners (GitLab), and heavier media services like Plex (with iGPU transcoding). The 10G interconnect allows for rapid VM migration and high-speed Ceph replication.
